Indoor field hockey is a great way to build your stick skills in the winter and stay sharp for outdoor season. It’s usually played on a hard indoor surface (like a gym floor), which makes the game faster. Indoor sticks aren’t required, but they can be beneficial if playing regularly. Players should also wear a mouth guard and field hockey shin guards for safety.
Below is info on different Winter Field Hockey opportunities in our area. Some players do both NA offerings and join an indoor field hockey club, while others just do NA.
NA Youth Field Hockey runs play at North Park Sports Complex on turf. They offer fall, winter, and spring leagues and clinics.
